On the subject of posts and confusion
What you post.. is what you say.
Unless I EXPLICITLY say that something may be retracted, it stands as is.

Re: On the subject of posts and confusion
Also, please reread the posts in House Rules (Putting it in writing: death and other happenings) to refresh on what my position is on the volume with which you speak.
Since this has now become an issue needing adjudication, here is my ruling on mumbling:
Mumble-
Def: to speak or say indistinctly and in a low voice, as with the mouth partly closed; mutter
If you say your character is mumbling something, DO NOT post what they are actually saying! Since this form of utterance is, by its nature, indistinct and difficult to understand. To actually post what you are saying defeats the purpose.
Simply post to me what you have 'mumbled' so I know.
The DC to either hear or read the lips of someone who is mumbling is 20 (as set by me, using the DC 15 to hear whispering, or read lips; PHB).
